Small Business Solutions
Business technology should support daily work, not become a constant source of interruptions.
TEI-NOLOGY offers technology solutions for small businesses, offices, retailers, and independent professionals needing to install, upgrade, organize, or maintain work computers.
We can work with a single workstation or small environments with several computers, peripherals, and shared resources, primarily on Windows platforms.
What services can we offer?
Depending on your business needs, we can help with:
- Employee computer installation and configuration.
- New workstation preparation.
- Replacement and upgrades of existing computers.
- Data migration between computers.
- Windows and driver installation and configuration.
- User and work-profile configuration.
- Monitor and multi-display workstation installation.
- Printer installation and configuration.
- Peripheral configuration.
- Basic local network configuration.
- Connecting computers via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
- Configuring shared resources within a local network.
- Storage, memory, and other component upgrades.
- Computer diagnostics and repairs.
- Preventive maintenance.
- On-site or remote technical support.
- Advice on upgrading or expanding technology infrastructure.
- Final workstation checks.
How does it work?
Before recommending computers or making changes, we seek to understand your workstation count, applications, current difficulties, and improvement goals. We can also assess whether this is a new installation, an existing infrastructure upgrade, or a specific problem.
We review computers, peripherals, connectivity, and other project elements to identify what can be retained, what should be upgraded, and which components or computers may need replacement.
For projects involving several workstations or a broader scope, we may prepare a specific quote including:
- Recommended computers or components.
- Required services.
- Scope of work.
- Estimated time.
- Associated costs.
- Project phases where applicable.
We do not make additional changes outside the agreed scope without informing the customer first.
We perform approved work while minimizing business disruption where possible. Depending on the project, we can coordinate schedules and phases to avoid taking every workstation offline at once.
After completing the work, we check the computers and configurations. We can also document key features of installed workstations when the project requires it.
Usage and care recommendations
Review the usage, update, and maintenance recommendations relevant to the work performed to help care for your computer after the service.
New workstation installation
If your business is adding employees or replacing older computers, we can prepare workstations ready for use.
This may include:
- Computer selection or assembly.
- Windows installation.
- Drivers and updates.
- Monitor configuration.
- Peripheral installation.
- Data transfer from the previous computer.
- Basic network configuration.
- Final system verification.
- Workstation usage recommendations.
We can work with computers purchased through TEI-NOLOGY or customer-supplied hardware after compatibility assessment.
Existing computer upgrades
Replacing every computer in an office is not always necessary.
We can review each workstation to determine whether memory, storage, or another component upgrade could extend useful life and improve performance.
Where possible, we prioritize a reasonable upgrade before recommending complete replacement.
Computer migration and replacement
When a workstation needs replacement, we can help transfer necessary information to the new computer.
Depending on the case, we can provide:
- Document and file transfer.
- Migration between storage drives.
- New system preparation.
- Peripheral configuration.
- Integration into the existing network.
- Verification of transferred files.
Projects involving servers, large data volumes, cloud services, or more complex infrastructure are assessed separately.
Networks and shared devices
We can provide basic configurations connecting computers within a small office.
This may include:
- Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity.
- Router configuration.
- Shared printers.
- Access to certain local network resources.
- Adding workstations to an existing network.
- Diagnosing common connectivity problems.
Advanced business networking, large-scale infrastructure, or extensive structured cabling projects require a specific assessment before determining whether they fall within our service scope.
Workstation maintenance
A computer with constant problems can directly affect productivity.
We can perform preventive maintenance and workstation checks to detect:
- High temperatures.
- Dust buildup.
- Storage problems.
- Insufficient memory.
- Worn components.
- Ventilation failures.
- Reduced performance.
- Upgrade needs.
- System instability.
If we identify a situation requiring repairs or additional investment, we will communicate it before proceeding.
Technical support
We can also provide support for workstations, hardware, Windows, peripherals, and basic connectivity issues.
Depending on the problem, service may be provided:
- Remotely.
- At our facilities.
- At the business location.
If a computer needs more thorough assessment, we can arrange pickup and return.
Special projects
We know every business works differently.
If your project does not fit the services above exactly, we can assess its scope and determine whether we can undertake it.
This may include projects such as:
- Upgrading multiple workstations.
- Transferring information between multiple computers.
- Reorganizing technology in a small office.
- Deploying new computers.
- Preparing specialized workstations.
- More complex migrations.
These jobs are subject to prior assessment and quotation.
Focused on small businesses
Our services are designed primarily for small businesses and offices needing more personal technical attention without large-scale IT infrastructure.
We currently work primarily with Windows computers and PC-compatible hardware.
This service does not include comprehensive administration of large corporate networks, data centers, or highly complex enterprise infrastructure.
Grow without replacing everything
When a business needs to modernize technology, buying everything again is not always the right solution.
We can assess which computers still have useful life, which can be upgraded, and which genuinely need replacement.
This enables a more organized improvement plan and directs the budget where it has the greatest impact.
Not sure what your business needs?
Tell us how many computers you have, how your business uses them, and what you want to improve. We will assess your needs and prepare a solution tailored to your business size and operations.
